Every Monday Crime-Reader.com publishes an article featuring a case that is currently being reported in the news. Today’s article features the missing person’s case turned murder investigation of 36-year-old, Chenin Carlson of Manteca, California.
According to a Facebook post that was uploaded by Chenin’s sister, Chenin was last seen around 8:30 p.m on December 19, 2020 leaving her home to start a shift at her new job at Amazon in Tracy, CA. However, she would meet an unfortunate end, never making it to work.
Her body was discovered the next day by two fishermen who noticed a corpse bobbing in the water. Not much information has yet been made public regarding any details as to how her body ended up being in the aqueduct.
The San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office determined that her death was a homicide, currently they’re looking for Carlson’s SUV. The vehicle is a grey 2008 Honda Pilot with the California license plate 7FIE245. Anyone who sees the vehicle or knows where it might be is urged to call detectives at (209) 468-4400.
